Making cool old-school machine gun fire soundloops is hard!
I’ve been playing with SFXR to make sound effects for my upcoming game and the tool is great. The problem is that it’s not really designed to created looped effects (like machine gun fire etc).
Flash sucks when it comes to looping sounds with timers or render events, so the only solution is to make a loop yourself… So I opened multitrack audio editor and added single shooting sound clip to it and repeated it a few times.
The result is pretty good, the only problem is that the actual shooting sound might be a bit annoying if you listen to it over and over and over again!
